Nice example of an original condition Late 18th century American Banister yoke back chair with sausage style turned front rails probably New Jersey or New York 1750-1800. Original black paint decorated with floral designs under the old dry original surface. The natural rush seat is original to the chair. Excellent color and patina. Nice tight solid frame with no repairs or replacements.
