Antique 18th Century Large Gustavian Klismos Chair

About the Item

Antique 18th century Gustavian Klismos chair. This design was developed by the Greeks in the 5th century BC. The Klismos chair has four curving splayed legs and curved back rail with a narrow concave backrest. Graceful lines, wonderful proportions and extremely comfortable. Dry scraped.
