Antique American Wrought Iron Shoe Shine Chair
About the Item
A fabulous American Victorian painted yellow wrought iron wire Grand shoe shining stand by Royal Products Chicago.
Born in the late 19th century, the tall shoeshine chair is styled in period "ice cream parlor - soda fountain" ironwork, with scroll openwork backrest, pull-out footrest with adjustable feet rests, a circular wooden seat and raised wooden arm rests, lower metal shelf and tray for polish and product storage, in typical fun "ice cream parlor" fashion the chair rises on and twisted wire legs with loop feet.
Marked "Royal Products, Chicago Pat'd."
