This practical size chair from late 19th or early 20th century Europe is as strong and stable as the day it was handcrafted. It comes with various, beautifully hand carved Gothic elements such as the linen fold back, the Gothic leaf patterns atop, the trefoil (for trinity) patterns in the Gothic column design legs and the Gothic church-window-like details in the upper left and right corner of the back. Have you also noticed the stunning tiger oak grain in the back and the stylish leather seat. Together they make up the beauty and rarity of this stylish and extremely durable antique Gothic chair. It will look great behind a Gothic desk, but it could also decorate your hallway or the corner of a bedroom.
