Antique Italian Renaissance Figural Bird & Lion Carved Walnut Throne Arm Chair. Item features a high back, solid carved walnut frame with bird crest, pierce carved acanthus leaves throughout, lion heads on the armrests, central carved medallion with soldier bust, ornately carved stretcher base, and other finely carved accents. Very impressive and stately piece with remarkable carvings. Circa Early 20th Century. Measurements: 57" H x 27" W x 29" D x 19" Seat height.
