Steeped in history and artistry, this 19th-century French Gothic Revival hall chair is a true collector’s piece. Crafted from rich oak, its spire-form back features intricate tracery, a noble shield, and a delicate trefoil motif in relief. The seat, adorned with worn embossed leather depicting a lion rampant, is elegantly framed with nailhead trim, embodying the passage of time and character.
Standing on two twisted front legs and two weave-pattern rear legs, the chair’s striking design is further enhanced by carved grotesque figures, a signature of Gothic craftsmanship.
