Furcula chair in Jequitiba Brazilian wood in contemporary styly by Tiago Curioni
About the Item
This is perhaps one of the most complex chairs we have ever produced. With carved parts at every corner, including underneath the seat, this piece could not have been made by a craftsman. Instead, a robotic arm, capable of accessing difficult corners, is used to create the twisted appearance you see here. No corner is obvious here, and here, we wanted to elevate wood to a state of the art.
This is perhaps one of the most complex chairs we have ever produced. With carved parts at every angle, including underneath the seat, this piece could not have been made by a craftsman. Instead, a robotic arm, capable of accessing difficult corners, is used, creating the twisted appearance you see here. No corner is obvious, and here, we wanted to elevate the wood to a state of the art.
Note how the wood grain stands out on the wide and generous arms, giving each one a unique look. The wood is chosen carefully, maintaining a very high quality control, rare to see in factories.
We understand that luxury is to convey our dreams in the form of an exclusive item, with highly controlled construction, personifying all our talent and capacity in a single product, which will be delivered to you.
Choose from the 4 possible colors, and we will be honored to bring something so poetic to your hands.2800

A certain idea of ??melting or organicity was brought precisely to break the rigidity of the wood of the arms and backrest, which are gently supported on the base structure.
The final result of this piece reminds us of a stingray in motion – light...
