German modern blue and black wooden chairs D61 by El Lissitzky for Tecta, 1970s Pair of chairs mod. D61 in electric blue and black lacquered wood. The backrests are in suede. The structure is curved in a semicircle and makes up the backrest and the floor support, the seat has a straight profile at the front. The two armrests are also rounded. Produced by Tecta in 1970s and designed around 1930 by El Lissitzky in full Bauhaus style. Fair condition, with signs of use and aging, scratches and lack of color. One of the two backrests has strong discoloration and a cut on the leather.
