Hand Carved English Regency-Inspired Dining Chair

About the Item

Our Merienda dining chair has arms resembling English Regency and a back inspired by an Albert Hadley design, these dining chairs are designed by Jhon Ortiz and produced in our Connecticut workshop. The chairs feature a sabre leg and are shown in Pierre Frey Bold/ Méditerranéen. Measurements: Overall: 21.5”W x 24”D x 40.5”H Inside: 18.5”W x 18.5”D x 21.5”H Seat height: 19" Price As Shown: $2,400 each COM Price: $2,200 each Customization may change the price. How We Work: Made to order by Connecticut-based furniture design and manufacturing company The Tailored Home. Submit your customization desires by 1stdibs messenger for a quote. After orders are placed our workshop manager creates a visual work order for your approval for quality assurance. Customization Options: Dimensions can be customized. Ask for details. The fabric shown may come in more colors. We also carry thousands of other materials and can send you samples and fabric pricing upon request. We accept your fabric for a COM fee of 5% of the cost of the piece. Welting, piping, tape, or trim can be added. Different species are available for pieces with exposed wood and can be painted & lacquered in any Benjamin Moore color (for an additional charge) or stained in one of our stain options. Custom color matches cost $75 per sample. We accept inspiration photos of pieces you like. 2021 - Made to Order This piece can be made as is or custom-made with the customer’s choice of materials and size adjustments. 9-10 weeks

Piece and Quiet by Nathaniel Wojtalik is a series that draws upon the literary, musical, and cinematic idea of découpé, or cut-up. The technique of découpé stems from the notion that a text, musical score, or image could be cut up and rearranged to create a new body. Off-cuts and partially completed prototypes float around Wojtalik's studio; some more machined and worked than others, many just raw materials laying in their natural form.
