Ilana Goor Wrought Iron and Leather Chairs
About the Item
Set of 6 leather and iron chairs attributed to Israeli artist and sculptor Ilana Goor. Set consists of two arm chairs and four chairs without arms. These chairs are comprised of a wrought iron construction with welded joinery, steel rebar, metal rods with patina.
Cowhide and pigskin leather covers the seat and back of each chair. The frame of each chair is fully intact with no notable instability; however, the leather on the chairs does feature wear consisting of tears and cracks due to lack of conditioning and maintenance- some chairs presenting more wear than others. Even with wear, each chair is functional. These would be the perfect candidate for reupholstery to suit your preference.
Each chairs weighs around 35 pounds.
