About the Item

Found in the US, this circa late 1950s/early 1960s James Mont style chair has a black painted bentwood frame and new upholstery. Wrap-around curved back rest features distinctive tight bentwood corners with canted and tapered back legs. The subtle curves of the seat complete the interesting angles and lines of this chair. Newly upholstered in a pale goldenrod dobby weave fabric. Unknown maker. Excellent vintage condition with new upholstery. Arm Height: 24.5 at front 27” at back Seat Height: 19” Seat Depth: 18” Seat Width: 20”
