An ‘Eva’ lounge chair is part of the ”Paradise” collection designed by Kerstin H. Holmquist for the Swedish Nordiska Kompaniet in 1958. The characterful appearance of the Eva lounge chair results from the combination of a high and distinctively organically curved backrest, swooping armrests and solid wood legs. Upholstered in a yellow wool fabric, this Eva lounge chair lends a touch of the delightful spirit of the 1950's to any interior. About the designer: Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist (1925-1997) was a Swedish architect and designer who often worked together with her husband Erik Holmquist. Hörlin-Holmquist graduated from Stockholm’s Konstfack in 1952, and before that she studied and worked in England.
