About the Item
USA, ca. 1930s or 1940s. A pitched machinist’s chair with striking Constructivist look. Features handmade wood scaffold construction supported by original casters. While we do not know this object’s true function, its rugged, geometric design suggests industrial origins. Who or what “DF” was adds to the intrigue. Pleasing with attractive weathered surface.
