Sophisticated set of ten dining chairs designed by Italian designer Matteo Grassi in the 1980s. These chairs feature grey leather upholstery on the backrests and seats. These pieces feature an angular design, leaving the metal frame bare. The leather upholstery stitched and moulded to the metal frame panels, a type of architectural design used by great designers in Italy during this period.

Matteo Grassi was an artist, who was born in 1927. Grassi grew up during the 1930s and was inspired by the artistic atmosphere of the time.

Established in 2006, Morentz has a team of approximately 55 restorers, upholsterers, interior advisers and art historians, making it a gallery, workshop and upholstery studio, all in one.
