About the Item
A new look for the Neil family, designed by Jean Marie Massaud in 2018 and now becoming an icon of essentiality. Today, the family welcomes the new Neil Textile version with fabric upholstery, paired and simply stretched on the steel frame.
This seat celebrates simplicity, lightness and easily suits different interior contexts.
In Neil Textile the tailoring skill is expressed in the wide choice of fabrics available, enhanced by visible stitching in matching colours, enhancing the design of the seat.
The aesthetics and comfort of Neil Textile is also in the stool version, available in two heights, suitable to connote more informal environments in combination with kitchens, bar counters and high tables.
The Neil collection is also characterised by its sustainable nature. The materials used are 100% recyclable and the seats can be easily disassembled for proper recycling. Sustainability is one of the values that guide several of the French designer's projects: the use of quality materials, combined with values such as expertise and smart production systems, make the product long-lasting and limit waste.
Neil is a lounge chair celebrating lightness and competence.
A radical language, a cosy comfort and an elegant technique
that match surprisingly well with refined, natural finishes.
Now introduced in a four-star version, this new collection
leaves space for further future options and different situations
and uses. The Neil armchair emerges today as a new icon of
essential style.
Padded version
A load-bearing body in rigid polyurethane (compact, high
performance techno-polymer obtained through moulding)
covered with polyurethane foam rubber.
Polyester wadding completely covers the body.
Available in high and low back version, with or without armrests.
Version with counter-shell
A load-bearing shell in rigid polyurethane (compact, high
performance techno-polymer obtained through moulding) and
liquid painted in the colours matt white and lead black.
The colour of the shell matches with the one of the frame.
Counter-shell in rigid polyurethane covered with polyurethane
foam rubber with upholstery in polyester wadding. Available in
high-back and low-back version, with or without armrests.
Bases
Four points star premium 4-points star steel base with
cantilevered frame, matt powder painted white and lead black.
360° swivel;
Four points star basic 4-points star steel base with central
frame, matt powder painted white and lead black.
360° swivel. Upholstery
Padded armchairs can be covered in fabric or leather.
The upholstery is not removable.
For production with customer own leather, a full leather hide of
no less than 5,00 square meters without defects such as scars
or holes will be needed

The fabric upholstery, coupled and simply stretched on the frame, is characterized by riveted seams and colour matching aesthetic stitching on the seat and back, decorations that emphasise the tension and the pattern.
The upholstery fabric is removable.
This product is only suitable for indoor use.
