About the Item
Mid century modern vintage garden chair from green lacquered tubular steel.
Designed for the public bathing beach "Gänsehäufel" in Vienna, circa 1948.
Designed by the architects Max Fellerer & Eugen Wörle.
Max Fellerer, who works together with Eugen Wörle from 1934-1957, was a leading designer personality after the second world war.
He worked together with Josef Hoffmann and Clemens Holzmeister.
The chair is cleaned carefully and shows good condition with signs of age and use like abrasions at the lacquer.
The chair is stable and sturdy, the slats sit firmly in the mountings.
