About the Item

Barber chair. Made of light blue enameled metal and upholstered in dark synthetic leather with stripes. The sturdy circular base ensures stability to the structure, typical of classic hydraulic models, although this model does not appear to have the functional mechanism. The backrest has a cut-out shape with a covering fixed by metal studs, and is accompanied by an articulated headrest. The arms, also with a padded finish, offer comfort and complete the robust and functional look. The footrest in worked cast iron has perforated designs and a slightly curved surface. This type of chair was iconic in mid-20th century barber shops, combining ergonomics, durability and a certain industrial refinement. Today, it is valued as a collector's item or decorative item, especially in environments that explore retro or vintage aesthetics.
