Midcentury Cesca Rattan Chair, Marcel Breuer, Italy, 1960s

About the Item

Beautiful midcentury rattan, velvet and wood chair. The wonderful and world-famous Cesca chair designed in the 1920s by Marcel Breuer. The Cesca chair is produced by, among others, companies such as Thonet or Knoll; which makes them slightly different from each other. This piece by Simon Gavina comes from Italy in the 1960s. Beautifully preserved chair with a nice patina (gold/straw colour) and a black lacquered beech frame on a chrome metal structure. The chair, despite its age, is fully functional. Cesca is a great vintage decoration that fits absolutely any interior. We can prepare also bigger sets 2, 6, 8 or more chairs in different wood color. Please check last pictures with color samples. Rattan is refreshed and is in perfect condition.
