About the Item
A beautiful pair of antique French gilt wood side chairs. They were made in France in the classic Louis XV style, they date from around the 1930’s.
The quality is superb, they have gorgeous carving and are a lovely size. They are perfect for use as bedroom chairs, hall chairs, dining chairs, or in various settings around the home.
The condition is very good for their age, we have had them re-upholstered in cream cotton fabric. The frames just have some surface wear and a lovely overall patina, commensurate for age.
