Pair of Early 19th Century French Louis XVI Revival ‘Voyeuse’ Chairs An elegant pair of Voyeuse chairs, French, early 19th century, in the Louis XVI Revival style. These charming chairs, designed as spectator pieces, feature high, rounded backs and gracefully carved wood frames, typical of the period. The frames have been later repainted in a soft ivory tone, and the upholstery has been updated with a floral-patterned damask fabric in shades of pink and white, adding a more contemporary touch.
