About the Item
A pair of vintage American upholstered chairs with nicely carved legs and stretcher. This pair of good-sized, arm-less side chairs have an Italian inspired design, with each featuring upholstered seat and tufted backs, raised upon beautifully carved legs. The front cabriole legs are adorn with carved acanthus leaves at knees, while rear legs have a subtle saber shape, each leg terminating onto scroll feet and supported with a nicely carved x-shape cross stretcher. The current fabric has some staining, therefore these chairs are ready to be re-upholstered to suit your design needs. Should you be interested in more than one pair of these chairs, we currently have two additional chairs available (4 chairs total at this time), priced per pair.
