About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning pair of original, hand carved in solid walnut, Italian high back throne chairs .
These are pure art furniture from every angle, the old upholstery had perished and has been removed, they have been upholstered with calico which can be used as it is or as a lining for a fabric of your choosing.
The carvings are exquisite, you have what looks like griffins or dragons, a mans head, pillared columns and so on, there chairs really are a tour de force of style and design.
The timber has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished, it has a good rich glow to it, the upholstery is basically new.
