Pair of Unusual Swedish Arts & Crafts Chairs, Origin: Sweden, Circa 1900 - 1910

$11,400

About

Unusual Swedish Arts & Crafts chairs, a pair, origin: Sweden, circa 1900 - 1910 Interesting form, construction and details should be noted. They are highly finished yet naive in many ways; the workmanship shows a very sophisticated craftsman or cabinetmaker, albeit from the countryside. Provenance: Special Commision for a Manor House, Private collection, Sweden Exhibitions: The World of Anna Karlin with AD, New York City, Summer 2018 (installation photographs attached).
