Postmodern vintage six piece set - dining chairs from rattan by Borek Sipek Czeck Republic 1988.
A great, very rare and comfortable wicker seating set, which includes four armchairs model Liba and two chairs model Helena.
These high-quality dining chairs were made of wicker in natural color, red and blue lacquered. Stable and sturdy, the chairs work perfect for indoor and at your patio.
This set of six playful rattan dining chairs was designed by Borek Sipek, Czech Republic and executed by Driade, Italy, Fossadello di caorso, Piacenza during the 1980s.
Borek Sipek ( 1949 - 2016 ) Czech architect, artist and furniture designer.
His credo was form follows poetry. His designs connects the spirit from fairy tales with bold Postmodern era feel.
These dining chairs work great with a dining table by Norman Foster or Giovanni Offredi or with a table lamp by Yves Christin as well as suited wonderfully with Art Deco furniture pieces, which we currently present in our storefront.
