We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare small circa 1760 Fruitwood hand carved side chair A good looking and well-made piece, the timber patina is to die for, you only get this look and feel from genuine age and ware, just look and the hand sawed slabs of We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, one of the back legs has been repaired and a section replaced many decades ago, it's quite nice to see such an expertly executed antique repair I have another chair from this era which is just about the finest piece you will ever see made in the Pugin manor, its listed under my other items. Dimensions: Height 86.5 cm Width 44.5 cm Depth 40 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
