A striking and rare lounge chair designed by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik in the 1980s, known as the “Cylinder” chair. This sculptural piece exemplifies Opsvik’s experimental approach to form and comfort, with its bold cylindrical shape resting horizontally on a minimalist tubular steel base.
Newly reupholstered in natural leather, the chair has undergone a full restoration, enhancing its timeless, architectural character. The unique structure supports a variety of relaxed seating positions, blurring the line between furniture and functional art.
An exceptional example of Scandinavian postmodern design and an iconic piece for collectors of radical Nordic seating.
