Red Mid-Century Modern armchairs by Gastone Rinaldi, Italy 1960s. Gastone Rinaldi designed this beautiful and iconic pair of rare chairs in 1954, Italy. The shape of the chairs is sculptural, unique, and elegant. The legs of the chairs are very finely designed and create a wonderful symbiosis with the organically shaped seat. Gastone Rinaldi found contour-soft and ergonomic shapes and projected them onto his designs. Both lounge chairs have the original vintage fabric. The frame comes with steel legs; the material is made of a red teddy fabric with a beautifully soft feel. The chairs were produced between 1955-1960 and are in good vintage condition. These original chairs would be an eye-catching addition to any interior. When you choose for used mid-century design, you use what is already there, making it sustainable. You may not give the furniture a second, but even a third or fourth life. Mid-century design furniture is often a high-quality product that lasts several lives for a reason. Some furniture has a rich history, and the story is still visible or tangible with some. The signs of wear give a glimpse into the previous owner's life.
