This set of 4 Biedermeier chairs dates back to around 1820 and comes from southern Germany. The chairs feature a pretty cherry veneer. The back shows a very unusual interlacing ebonized C-design. The 19th century chairs have a very modern touch and their stand out design can be easily integrated in any interior design style. They come refinished, with a new upholstery. The chairs are covered with a very pretty black and white striped JAB Anstoetz fabric.

The so called original Biedermeier Ochsenkopf-Stuehle (ox-head chairs) get their name from their beautifully designed back. They date back to around 1820 and come from Southern Germany.
The chairs are embellished with a gorgeous walnut veneer. They come refinished with a shellack finish and have a new upholstery and elegant black fabric.
