About the Item

Giovanni Ponti, known as Gio (Milan, 18 November 1891 – Milan, 16 September 1979), was one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the post-war period. The REGUITTI Brothers' designs were known for their elegance and simplicity, as well as their high quality. During his career he obtained numerous awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1960 for the "Giotto" handle.
