About the Item

Introducing a gorgeous 60's era Mid-Century Modern desk chair designed in the manner of Edward Wormley. Constructed from a frame of solid American black walnut, replete with stunning variegated woodgrains, and newly upholstered in a fabulous, kind-to-the-touch yellow felt this desk chair is ideal for designers striving to hit a vintage chord in any living or office space. With a padded, sculpted seat back this splendid accent chair is as comfortable and supportive as it is aesthetically nostalgic and attention-grabbing. Able to blend seamlessly against a multitude of design backdrops from Mid-Century Modern to Contemporary to Art Deco and everything in between this ultra-comfortable chair is sure to make a BOLD statement in any space it inhabits. With bold pops of vintage-feeling color, mesmerizing woodgrains and elegant shape this chair won't last long. Make it yours today before it's gone forever. ---Dimensions--- Width: 19.25 in / 48.9 cm Depth: 23 in / 58.42 cm Height: 32.5 in / 82.55 cm Seat Height: 18 in / 45.72 cm This gorgeous desk chair has recently undergone a partial restoration process featuring new upholstery. The solid black walnut frame and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and shows some some minor signs of wear such as nicks, scratches and small gouges on two of the legs (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). With that said the wood is in overall very good vintage condition. As purists, we strive to leave all of our pieces in as original condition as possible. However we do offer restoration services and a full carpentry shop which can professionally sand and refinish the walnut included in the sale price. If this option interests you please message us prior to checkout as this service can require up to 12-14 business days of lead time. The upholstery, redone in a fabulous kind-to-the-touch yellow felt, is in new, never-sat-in condition and also features new medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity. This stunning, 60's era chair is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use. Please view all photos and video provided for details on this chair's current condition. We're limited on the amount of media we can post so additional photos and videos are available upon request.
