About the Item

Antique or vintage garden chair in neo Gothic style. The filigree legs support the round seat with circumferential downward drawn pointed arches and quatrefoils. The same design style is reflected in the backrest. In this way, the chair is absolutely rare to find. I myself found the chair at a small antique market in Carpentras, near Avignon in the south of France and was immediately excited about this rare discovery. As a solitaire in your garden, this piece of furniture is sure to attract all eyes and give a unique style to the place where it stands. The vintage furniture is in the original found condition. The paint is partially chipped. Thus, the chair has a distinctive character, expressive patina. It could be repainted, but I personally would leave it exactly as it is and use it with a matching round seat cushion.
