Michael Hurwitz Bentwood Rocking Chaise Lounge, 1990 Mahogany 34.25 x 83 x 24 in Michael Hurwitz has been making studio furniture since earning a BFA from Boston University’s Program in Artisanry in 1979 and was Head of the Wood Department at University of the Arts, Philadelphia between 1985 and 1989. His work is represented in several public collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts, and the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC.
