Antique Victorian Pair of Claw & Ball Feet Hand Carved Walnut Club Armchairs
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of Antique Victorian circa 1880 hand made in England armchairs with hand carved Walnut Claw & Ball feet feather filled cushions
A good looking, well made and decorative pair, they are also exceptionally comfortable, the frames have been hand carved from solid slabs of walnut, the back legs have as much detail as the front legs which is rare, it means they were a no expensive spared pair.
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the timber from top to bottom, the fabric has various marks from every day use, there are some light marks the odd pen mark and so it, the upholstery is acceptable but if I were keeping them I would have them reupholstered in leather
