A Beautiful & Rare French Leather Club Chair, Circa 1950’s
This beautiful cloud-back is a lovely thing. Classic and sophisticate styling and its condition is perfect. The original deep caramel leather has aged like only original hand-dyed leather can and this is an exceptional example. The rake of the chair lends itself to a very relaxed seating position, with welcome support to the lower back and arms. All the necessary seat and spring work has been completed for your piece of mind. This is a wonderful example of an incredibly rare chair.

We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France.
In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. In addition, the leather on our chairs is always nourished and the upholstery cleaned.
