Brutalist Throne Form Club Chair after Pearsall c. 1970's

About the Item

Dramatic Brutalist style cathedral form throne chair, reminiscent of the Strictly Spanish series designed by Adrian Pearsall, circa 1970's. The chair features a pointed top with a finial. The exaggerated elongated back sweeps down to form splaying arms, the seat is mounted on a footed plinth base, with applied wood on wood trim. The chair is structurally sound and sturdy, the upholstery shows wear, fading etc. and will need to be replaced. Total H 50.5" x Arm H 20.75" x Seat H 17" x W 34" x D 27" Please view the matching sofa, listed separately on 1st Dibs.
