A Fantastic French Leather club Chair, Havana Moustache Model, Circa 1930’s This iconic chair, with its Cuban cigar arms, low-slung arms and exquisite Havana colour, is the one to have with early examples soon to become extinct. This chair is a wonderful example. The craftsmanship and quality is second to none and it is no coincidence that this one has lasted the test of time. There are no rips or previous repairs, and all the necessary seat and cushion has been done for your comfort. This is a beautiful original moustache-back in a gorgeous condition. We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for 20 years. All of our pieces are sympathetically restored. We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France. In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used.
