French Art Deco Club Chair from the 1930’s and in remarkable original condition. Inside the French leather club chair, we rebuilt the frame as needed and added horsehair for padding as per the original club chairs. What is quite unusual, is how supple the original leather for the club chair remained after almost 100 years. Scale wise, this is one of the larger and for me the most comfortable club chair styles made. In a properly restored French club chair, you will sit in the seat of the club chair, rather than on the seat cushion of the club chair and that makes all the difference in the world, when it comes to comfort. We have been selling French leather club chairs for over 30-years and generally stock about 50-club chairs at any one time.
