Ming Keng Lu's uncle would always brings snacks to his studio in the afternoons, and one day he brought freshly steamed water caltrops. It is a small, white nut that should have been tasteless, but brought both sweetness and bitterness. Inspired by the shape of the nut he created the Water Caltrop chair creating a piece with a variety of flavours as well
