About the Item

Wonderful pair of 1950s Danish Club Chairs in the style of Fritz Hansen’s Model 1669 chair. Melding Scandinavian Modern and Art Deco design elements, the chairs are characterized by their right-angle wood armrests, deep seat cushion, slight wingback, and button tufted backrest. Crafted in beautiful beech wood frames, the chairs have been newly re-upholstered in an oyster white bouclé. Marked ’19 Jan 1956’ on cyanide disinfection label located by webbing. Dimensions: 28 in. Width 27 in. Depth 31 in. Height 15 in. Seat height Condition notes: In good condition, with wear consistent to the chairs age and usage and very slight join separation to corner. Original frame and webbing with new upholstery.
