About the Item
A remarkable pair of Hollywood Regency Era Lounge Chairs, reportedly from the 1940’s-1950’s (Possibly earlier) and from previous use on an Ocean Liner. Powerfully formed wood frames and bases, with curved arms and angled backs.
Spring form upholstered seats and backs, fabric tone on tone maroon red wide stripes.
Very comfortable seating pair.
Dimensions: 28.25” wide x 31.5” deep x 34” high back and 17” seat height
Condition: The overall condition of the Pair is quite good. There are some age borne marks on both the frames and fabric including areas of finish loss to the frames with the pair being excellent candidates for re-upholstery. There is slight loose joinery to the arms. The Pair display very well.
