Remarkable Pair Of French Style Cane Club Chairs
About the Item
A pair of very well made and superbly decorative Club Chairs in French Style with double-walled Cane sides and backs and deep-toned frames with gently sloping arms, delicate fretwork decoration and well-carved Lion’s Paw foot. The upholstered seat and back cushions have an understated color palette in a Burgundy, Wheat and Wheat Chevron pattern and are complimented by two needlepoint pillows with Soldiers, Shields and Flags.
Dimensions: 32.25” wide by 34” deep by 31” high. Seat height 18.5”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age including areas of dimpling, rippling and dents with some breaks to the cane with some losses and finish loss which do not greatly detract from the warm Cottage presentation. Sunning and gentle wear however the presentation and comfort are exceptional.
