A drop-dead gorgeous pair of large Havana moustache models. These are excellent examples; absolute classics of these now iconic and highly sought after chairs. These chairs, being of large proportions, are actually much, much rarer to find and to find ones in such a beautiful condition is a real pleasure. There are no rips or previous repairs, and all the necessary seat and cushion work has been completed. These are of course almost 80 years old, so whilst looking magnificent after cleaning and nourishing, they aren’t new chairs and that’s a good thing. You will only find chairs as handsome as these after years of use and care. These chairs are as lovely as the pictures suggest. Don’t miss out, chairs of this calibre in their first condition are very rare. We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for 20 years. All of our pieces are sympathetically restored. We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France. In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used.
