Very Rare Club Armchairs "Le France" by Jacques Quinet, 1960s

About the Item

Very rare and fine armchairs by Jacques Quinet. Made in France in the early 1960s. Fine black leather upholstery. The feets comes with brass encased legs. Stunning pieces. Nice vintage condition with usual kinds of useage. Literature: Guitemie Maldonado, Jacques Quinet Les editions d´amateur, 2000 - Page. 88 Jacques Quinet had a lot notable commissions. He decorated the residence of General Eisenhower at Marne-la-coquette in 1951 and the corporate offices of La Societé des Eaux d´Evian. Also Air France in 1955, 1965 and 1969. In the 1970s Quinet outfitted trains in Egypt, the Ivory Coast and Morocco on behalf of the SNCF.
