19th Century French Louis XVI Style Carved Walnut Corner Chair

About the Item

Antique French Louis XVI style hand-carved walnut corner chair from circa 1890. The richly carved walnut corner chair features a concave-shaped foliate-carved backrest rail with putti mask in the center, adorned with carved fruits, and the two splats feature griffins with leaf motifs. The wooden parts have adorable hand-carved details like acanthus leaves, flowers, and scrolls. The seat is covered with red fabric. In good antique condition being consistent with age-appropriate signs of use. Please review all 20 images and the video for all the beautiful details.
