Decorative daybed, designed circa 1920–30, presumably in England and inspired by Chinese Ming-style furniture.
The piece features a newly upholstered seat with a loose, tailored cushion in a soft, square-stitched pattern, flanked by gently curved end panels that offer both sculptural elegance and comfort.
The legs are finely crafted in solid maple, showcasing subtle Ming-style carvings and a warm natural patina. A refined blend of Eastern inspiration and early 20th-century English craftsmanship.
