This Meridienne can float in a room as the back is also upholstered or be against the wall.
This fabulous large daybed is made of hand carved wood that was painted later in the early 19th century.
Recently reupholstered in a beautiful Champagne color mohair velvet..
Very good antique condition, original untouched patina, consistent with age and use.
