About the Item

Elegant French modern neoclassical (late French Art Deco) daybed / chaise longue or single bed circa 1930 featuring dramatic carved ball feet. The bed is pure, modern statement that achieves the sublime with its cubist inspired feet. Christian Krass was an important architect / designer from Lyon, France whose work was influenced by the Parisian master Emille Jacques Ruhlmann. Dimensions: Height shown is approximately 13.5" but the piece can be used with a 4.5" mattress which will height to 18". Piece should be recovered.
