About the Item
1930s Evertaut cross back dining chair
1930s vintage Evertaut cross back dining chair. In its heyday Evertaut was the British competitor to Tolix, Multipl’s and Fibrocit. This chair is made from pressed and welded steel and features the original paint and Rexine style upholstery with the cross back supports. The chair is in exceptional condition, we have simply cleaned and wax finished it to preserve the original color and patina. The chair features the original wooden plug molded feet and Evertaut label. Evertaut still exists in Birmingham to this date but has diversified into contract seating for auditoriums. This chair is exceptionally rare and highly collectable. Measures: Seat height 46cm.
