1950’s Original French Tolix T37 Outdoor Dining Chairs – Set Of Six.
Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic café chair of all time, the Tolix model A. This listing is for the T37, designed in 1937 this set are in exceptional original condition with grey frames and red panel backs. The chairs are strong and sturdy. Our workshop cleans and rejuvenates each chair before they leave our workshop. Seat Height 45cm.

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
