Akar Chair -The Akar chair is based on the traditional French cafe chair with a twist. The flexible backrest is deceivingly comfortable. The solid reclaimed teak base gives the chair a more stolid presence- a perfect chair for dining, or simply to have a seat. Once upon a time, I came into existence in a quaint little furniture shop. My birth was rather uneventful; I was just another chair, or so I thought. Little did I know, I was to embark on a journey that would take me through the most unusual adventures. I was designed to be a dining chair, with a sturdy wooden seat and legs, but my most distinguishing feature was my back—a flexible, bendy metal structure. It was peculiar, and people often stared at me, wondering what purpose it served. Some whispered that it was a design flaw, but I knew better. I knew there was more to me than met the eye.
